Hello All. This is my first post. Great informative site. I would be grateful if someone could help regarding insurance. I am purchasing a 2008 Trigano Tribute, very little used. My son and his friend would like to use it for 3 weeks to drive to Poland for the European cup. I would prefer if they had their own insurance, rather than adding them to mine. Does anyone know of any company who would do this. And would we need to insure with the same company. I wont have the van for a few weeks and have not made insurance arrangements yet.

I certainly am not conversant with the ins and outs, but…If you Google short term vehicle insurance, there are companies who will do this…Could come at a premium though!
Probably best to talk to one or two insurers to get the lay of the land.March 20, 2012 at 6:54 am #129036mgroadsterParticipantI certainly am not conversant

This could be complicated. Add them to your insurance is the easiest way, but as you say you don’t want to do this.
An insurance broker might be able to help you here. They are aware of lots of different policies. I have used http://www.campton.co.uk and they’ve been very helpful.March 20, 2012 at 11:04 am #129049DarrenKeymasterThis could be complicated.
