I have a VW T25 as in the photo. The better half and I have had it for 2 years now and have only just got it mechanically sound the way we want it. We now want to do the bodywork but I think it needs a restore rather than a respray due to the amount of rust. I was wondering if anyone else on here has had that done to their T25 professionally and what was the cost and time frame of such a job?
We want our little camper back to way it was and in prime condition.
Any info or suggestions would be very grateful.

Hi, please describe the parts you want to be restored and we might narrow it down.Welding jobs are difficult to estimate both time and cost-wise. The rustdevil is a treacherous one. Once you start you have to continue removing material until the base to weld on is solid.
In my case it took me a month to remove, copy (bending), weld and paint all the rotten bodywork on a Peugeot Boxer. Being a beginner. Once had an experienced welder do two skirts, and some small things, in one week for 500€ excl materials. That was an ’69 Vauxhall. I guess it all depends on the square area and complexity.Hi, please describe the parts
