Yeah, that looks ok, I suppose. Should have a black frame though. Probably look different again once we’ve painted it and the van. One thing I found with the window was that (due to the angle it’s placed on the side of the van) the two drainage slots you can see on the lower edge of the window were actually letting water in! I remedied this by carefully sloping the slots downwards using the side of a 3/8″ HSS drill bit to mill the aluminium. Incidently, I don’t advocate you following this practice if you’ve never done this before. It takes a degree of knowledge, dexterity and skill. Sorry if you’re a mechanical engineer and have just fainted at the thought of what I did.. Having said that, the aluminium frame is quite soft and the desired result was achieved. Hurrah!
