    First bit of work
The van was aleady lined out with wood which was a bonus. The first job was to carpet the floor. I am lucky as my sister works for a carpet company, so she got me some left over contract carpet. It was fairly straight forward to measure it up fit it.

    thankyou
Thanks for the reply, the kitchen unit idea sounds good. For the bed I am in 2 minds, something along the lines of your idea, or a sofa bed which could be kept in the house and taken in and out of the van as needed.

The main thing is I am happy with my choice of van, most of last year I had a year 2000 1.9 non turbo relay and it was hard work to drive, hard to keep above 50 mph, very very slow. At the end of the year I traded that one for the turbo HDI one that I have now and thats so much better. Even fully loaded with 2 bikes and tons of camping gear it will sit at 70 mph with no problems and its still pretty good on fuel.
