  1. TV ?
    Read a book instead?

Have NEVER taken a TV with us in over 20 years camping, caravaning, camper van use.
Including kids from 2 to 16 years.

We take our travels as a chance to get the hell away from TV!

Is this for use in a campervan? I think a set top tv arial won’t work well in a campervan.
The best aerial are those on poles, that can be positioned when parked. However, these are not easy to carry around or setup.
    The Status aerial are popular.
The directional one is generally best, but needs setting up each time.
The omni directional arial can be left on the roof, and doesn’t need setting up.

      tv ariels
sorry I should have been more specific, yes it would be for a campervan.I was hoping to use a spare 19inch colour tv with a ariel that could be used both in the spare room in the house or in or on the campervan. It would have to receive freeview/digital.

      1. If you have lot of storage
If you have lot of storage space get one on a pole that you can move around.
If you have limited space, go for one that permanently sits on the van roof. The signal wont be as good though.
