steering wheel removal

Hi Everyone , I am currently converting a long wheelbase, high roof Transit. When I bought it the previous owner had made a bit of a bodge job so after ripping out the bodged up bits I am making it good. The first job was converting the front windows to electric operation., I`ve changed the bunk and adapted it to allow access for my mobility scooter.
I want to fit `captain`s seats but I can see that the steering wheel is going to be in the way when I try to revolve the driver`s seat. Has anyone managed to find a removable steering wheel kit for a Transit? If I can help with any problems then get in touch. Safe travelling , Norman
