KeymasterHi
Great news on your V5.
HiGreat news on your V5. No, your speed limit remains the same even though it is registered as a motorcaravan.
From VOSA:
“If the UW is over 3050 kg then the speed limits are 70 mph on a motorway, 60 mph dual carriageway and 50 mph on other roads.”
Your van has an UW (unladed weight over 3050kg), therefore the speed limit doesn’t change.
Only smaller vans with an UW under 3050 kg gets a speed limit change when converted to a motorcaravan.November 5, 2012 at 8:54 am #121072Darren
