i have a VW Caravelle 78ps (1986), i need to know what the rules are regarding seat belts in the rear of the camper, the bed is foward facing and has no belts fitted. do i need to fit some belts?? help please

It’s a bit complicated, but, legally you don’t need seat belts if the vehicle wasn’t originally manufactured with that seat. i.e. it was added after it was made.However, the police might think it unsafe for you to carry passengers without seat belts.
And more likely, your insurance company won’t insure you or anyone in your vehicle if they are not wearing a seat belt.
