    Hi, planning a trip up to Scotland next spring for a two week trip. We plan to go to Loch Lomond first, then up to Oban, Inverness etc. Would anybody have any info on dog friendly sites to use, or ones to avoid. Thanks

  2. Scottish Campsites
    Hi Matt,
    Campsites in Scotland have improved greatly over the last 10 years, some might say too much I’m going to be posting a guide to camping spots and campsites on my site in a few weeks but in the meantime my quick advice is;

    Both campsites on the east edge of Loch Lomond are good but the one further up is generally quieter, avoid camping in or near Inverness, a idea might be to carry on up the edge of Loch Ness and spend a night in the excellent (if expensive) campsite at the foot of Ben Nevis, I’ll post more detail and some campsite recommendations next week
