ParticipantHi,
I have a 1973 Bay Window Type 2 (high indicators) and I’m having problems with revs cutting out. From a cold start she turns over and catches just fine and then slowly, over a period of maybe 30 seconds the revs slow down and the engine stops.
When this starts to happen it can be caught by pumping the throttle a few times which increases the revs again and then slowly the revs start to slow down again.
Once the engine has warmed up properly the problem goes away but this never used to happen, she has always ticked over fine, even when cold.
Has anyone come acoss this problem before? Any ideas where I might start trying to solve this?]
Thanks
