    Hey,

Just giving my campervan a fresh look and getting the boy ready for the summer.
Want to recarpet the van with some fresh grey carpet to replace the old pink exsisting carpet. Also painting all the cupboards white (eek!), laying down some new lino etc etc.. ill put up the results soon.

However the old carpet runs under all the frame work for bed/cupboards etc.

So to get around this I was thinking to just go along the fixtures with a stanley before I rip it out & leave the pink carpet inside the cupboards etc.

Do you think this will be ok? Your thoughts would be welcome.

    I would definitely do that.
I would definitely do that. Trying to remove all of the hidden bits of the existing carpet would be a nightmare.
Just get as much as possible up, and re-carpet around that.
