Hi Birdy here – I intend converting my Minibus used for Taxi work for 6 yrs into a camper van , Its a W reg 2000 LWB Transit with high top including sunroof vent 286.000 miles but still very good condition ,- fully insulated and built originally for NHS use by mellor vancraft . Van is plated till sept but unlikely to go the distance and may start conversion prior . I will no doubt have many questions and will be looking for many parts etc to allow the transition . I do wonder mostly about insurance for the van during the build as i would like to be able to use it during conversion .
