Morning to everyone . . have just found this site and wonder if anyone can help. I drive a peugeot expert at the min and have a basic camp bed, camp cooker etc in the back. I’m not away too muck so its been adequate. Need to change my van now and am tempted to get the same type as use it every day, easy parking etc but would like to convert my new one into something that looks more like a camper . . has anyone converted something this small ? would love some ideas, or even if someone had some advice on another economical van as i travel about an hour each day . . Thanks, Ang

  1. Temporary Campervan Insurance?
Hi. I have a T25 which a friend is wanting to borrow for a couple of weeks. I seem to be having a real problem sorting some insurance out – my own insurance company don’t do ‘temporary’ cover and my friend can’t seem to get a quote because he isn’t the ‘registered keeper’. Can anyone give me any guidance on the best way to get some short term cover?

    Thanks, D

    Hi twisty

Here are some links to some great small van conversions:

A VW Transporter or Toyota HiAce van have more internal space than an Expert, without much more hassle parking, and about the same MPG. But these vans, especially the VW, are expensive to buy.

    1. thanks
Thanks for your reply, the conversion of the expert is brilliant . . it’s given me some great ideas. Fantastic site by the way. Thanks, Ang
