Hi there all,
perhaps somebody can tell me a definitive on the question thats been bugging me since i bought my current camper conversion in 2010. the odometer read 015,000. There is no ‘tenths’ digit on it, its on the trip meter. So i’ve always wondered (if the speedo is original) is it possible that this old bus has gone around the clock!!
I know its a nerdy conundrum..6 rolling digits on the dial…could potentially mean 999,999 could it not? Anyone out there who knows about Mercs, i hear that its possible they can do a million miles but….maybe i’ll be stratching my head about it forever!

Hi!How old is the vehicle?
The age wil go a long way to indicating if the odometer has been around the clock.
Do you have any old MOTs or other documentation for the van?March 29, 2012 at 7:21 am #128053DarrenKeymasterHi!

I think you can safely say that the mileage reading is off another van. If it’s near clapped out….I’ll wager it did it’s miles as a panel van before being a camper.March 30, 2012 at 6:18 pm #128077mgroadsterParticipantI think you can safely say
