KeymasterWind out awnings are fairly
Wind out awnings are fairly simple to install. However, they weight a lot, and have to be installed onto very sturdy structures. I think for a luton, you would have to reinforce the area it was mounting onto quite well.
I suppose you could make a big plywood load spreader on the inside of the wall. Here are some videos and pdfs about how to install a Fiamma awning
http://www.fiammastore.com/static/Fiamma_Video_and_PDF_InstructionsDrive away is easier to fit. Quite a different awning though. A drive away stays there, but takes time to put up. You can store things in it like a tent.
A wind out is really just to keep the sun and rain off. When you drive away it come with you.
