    Spotted the little kitchen unit on ‘layouts’ page – ‘big van small kitchen’. This looks perfect for what I need – what is it n where can I get one or similar? – thanks C

    Go for it. I found making the furniture one of the funnest parts of my conversion.

    If you have DY skills make
    If you have DY skills make one. They are very simple and you can make one very cheaply, that meets your exact needs.

    If you cant make one, drive you van to a well known carpenter and get a price from them. Should be straightforward.

    I love the idea of removable kitchens from campers. Very good idea if you use the van for other things.

      carpentry skills- what carpentry skills?
      Thanks Darren – will see how I get on building the bed and if I haven’t killed anybody by then will have a go at cabinet making – watch this space and/or local press!
