Introducing myself and my dream

Hi everyone,

My name is Annie. I am a French Buddhist living in London. Amongst other things, I have developed a passion for Italy over the years. I went on a solo backpacking trip last year for 2 weeks but I soon found out it was not enough. So I have formed this dream that one day, I will travel through Italy in a vintage VW campervan on my own for 3 months.

More recently, I made the decision that one day will be next year, September 2020. I am starting from scratch and I am hoping to find insightful information and advice on this forum.

This sounds like a great dream. Italy is a great place to visit in a campervan.
Are you saving for a VW campervan now?

Yes. I need to figure out if I want to hire a campervan for 3 months or buy one

Ah yes, that is about the right sort of time to consider buying one, as the rental costs will be high, and owning your own gives you a bit more freedom to do what you want with it.
