ParticipantHi, have just bought a Peugeot Expert crew van and looking to do a few modifications before the summer Euro haul. The van currently has 2 single seats at the front but I am looking to change it to the more standard 1 driver plus 2 passenger configuration.
My question is this – does anyone know would there be room for the passenger seat to to swivel, if fitted with a swivel turntable, in the slightly cramped cabin of the Expert or would I be better sticking with the 2 single seats? – would really prefer the flexibility of the 2 passenger seats for transporting car-sick young-uns!

GuestHi
HiI don’t know of a swivel for the Peugeot Expert.
However, there is a company on ebay selling swivels for different vehicles. I would suggest you get in touch and see if they sell one for your vehicle. Here is one of their listings:April 1, 2015 at 10:09 am #115321Darren

ParticipantI have a 2002 expert
I have a 2002 expert conversion http:// blue-van.blogspot.co.uk where I replaced both front seats with swivel seats.
The swivel it tight as it is, usually involving sliding the seat back and forth to get it turned. The clearance between the seats needs to be at least 8cm to allow them to turn.
Although both seats swivel, in practice, with two people, only one is used.
The best source for captain seats are from the mpv variants Synergie, Ulysse, C8, 807 which come up on eBay every so often – just make sure that you get the metal seat base to match the floor fixings to the seat fixings.April 1, 2015 at 1:18 pm #115325tee_cee
