Anyone know anything about gas bottles and regulators for use in Spain? My van only has room for 6KG bottles so not able to take bigger sized bottles. I have no idea what bottles are used in motorhomes in Spain. Any advice welcome. Oh yes. see previous ad…the van will be in Spain on a permanent basis.

Campervan gas supply
I am travelling through southern Spain to Portugal. Is anyone able to tell me if I need different gas bottles for Portugal or will the orange Butano Spanish style still be of use? Many thanks for any help/advice you can give.

If the vehicle is going to be kept in Spain you are better off buying gas bottles in Spain. They are fairly cheap and of course much easier to fill in Spain. Everyone I know who full times (or part-times) in Spain has Spanish gas bottles.
