ParticipantI wonder if anyone can help. I have just moved to England from France and brought our French registered Rapido camper van with us. We want to reregister it in the UK and are following the DVLA guidelines to do this. One of the requirements is that the headlights must be changed to RHD type so that they dip to the left. Fair enough. I ordered some from a firm called Slick Parts, very efficient, at a reasonable cost. however when I came to fit them the plug from the van to the new headlight did not match up, the pin configuration was totally different. Its impossible to change the plug as the wires go right inside the light and cannot be reached. I contacted Slick Parts who have been unable to source the correct ones as they say the LHD and RHD plugs are different. The van is a 2012 Fiat Ducato 2.3.
HELP please. Has anyone had this problem and been able to overcome it?September 14, 2014 at 3:40 pm #116120Nomad
