How does the radiator look, in good condition?
When you turn on the heater inside the cab, does hot air come through?

      1. yes hot air comes through

Is the radiator in good condition? They rot from the bottom up generally. Look at the bottom of it, from the front. If the little fins are missing, bent, rotting, it’s probably the radiator that needs replacing, as it isn’t cooling the water anymore.

If the radiator looks good, you might have air in the cooling system.
It my also be the thermostat.
Do you have a service manual for the vehicle? That should tell you how to check the thermostat.

Hi, My 91 autosleeper runs at about 70 degrees and the fan cuts in at 90. To the left of the heater intake, under the bonnet, there is a pipe, with screw in plug, try undoing this and filling with water, as this is the bleed valve, and you may have an airlock.

      hope this helps.
