ParticipantOut of all the countless times we have been on French campsites, never, ever once have we used their mains hook ups.
I have the std. 16a 3 pin blue socket/plug on my trailing lead.
What adaaptor (if any) do I need for the french hook up boxes? ta.March 25, 2013 at 6:31 pm #118916Darren

You need one of these, to convert the continental to the 3-pin

When you connect the hookup, turn this on and it will tell you if the hookup is connected the correct way. If it’s not, unplug and swap around. If you do connect the wrong way around there is chance you could live earth your van shell.
