Hey Everyone! Great site! Just starting out in the research phase here. Looking into Eurovan Camper 92 or 93 with minimal miles of course. Seems the safest bet is to go the fully restored route? Ebay seems like it’s full sellers that are not being completely honest. I’m looking at poptopheavan and go westy. Retored EVC’s are like 45k and up though. FOr a vehicle with 100k + miles on it. Am I missing something? Thanks for any direction here.

Unfortunately the prices are high because the vehicles are in demand.
I think you’ll bet better service, more honesty, and a better deal through one of the specialists, rather than an eBay seller.
There will be some experts on eBay also. Always treat an eBay sale just like any other: see the vehicle, test drive, inspection, pay in cash/in person.January 19, 2015 at 9:34 am #115559DarrenGuestUnfortunately the prices are

Thanks so much Darren. So they ARE in demand – yet VW won’t re-open the american market. Geez – it’s hard to imagine such a big gap in this market. Like a big hole. Do you have any opinions on poptopheaven or gowesty? The ebay thing is strange cause I can’t test drive a vehicle that’s too far away from where I live. I’m also seeing a lot of odeometer and repair issues in the vehicle reports that aren’t necessarily advertised up front. Phew! Thanks Darren! I’ve been looking forward to conversating as I am very excited to get on the road with my family. Anyway – any thoughts on any of this?January 19, 2015 at 2:17 pm #115563thatmothertuckerParticipantThanks so much Darren. So

I don’t have experience of either business.
It’s worth speaking to both about any vehicles you like, and seeing how that goes for you.January 19, 2015 at 2:25 pm #115567DarrenGuestI don’t have experience of
