    I want to put a Diode Based Isolator in my 2010 Chevy Express 1500. My buddy has an unused Cole Hersee 48120 Battery Isolator that he will give me. But it can’t be used with an alternator that has an “integral electronic voltage regulator.” I’ve searched all over the web and I can’t figure out if my alternator has one of those. Does anyone here know?

    Answering my own question here: Yes, the Delco DR37 alternator in my van has an “integral electronic voltage regulator”. So I have to find another isolator that will work with it.
