Hi
Myself, wife and the family are embarking on a 17 night trip this year in July to France from our home in the south east of UK.
Although we have taken the Fiat Carioca 22 to France a couple of times, we are for the first time this year sailing to Cherbourg.
As we have 3 children aged 9, 6 and nearly 3, we are allowing ourselves 3 nights to get down to the Dordogne where we have 8 of our 17 nights booked (2 different campsites).
I am looking for recommendations of quirky or pretty campsites to accommodate us for the 3 nights on the way down and the 6 we have coming back.
I am happy to try freedom camping if it is recommended. We have enjoyed staying at municipal campsites in the past too.
I look forward to your advice!
Thanks
Simon
