Hi, myself and my husband and 2 boys , age 4 and 6, are planning to travel from Ireland to France at the beginning of December and travel down through France and into Spain and perhaps into Morocco taking about 6 weeks for the trp in total. This will be our first big trip and while I’m sure we’ll learn as we go along I’m wondering does anyone have any tips for us when it comes to travelling with kids. Also has anyone done this trip at this time of year as I’m wondering how cold France will be at the beginning of December, not warm I’m sure. Any advice appreciated, Thanks, Julie

France can be colder than the UK in December!
We did a similar trip through France and to the south of Spain, but in early summer.
Most campsites will be closed though – best to check beforehand which are open! (Unless you don’t mind wild camping!)
