Hi all. We already live full time on a narrowboat on the canals, having retired early. We’re planning to buy a van in August and get it converted to a Campervan. My van choice is probably a Mercedes Sprinter MWB with a high roof (circa 2010-12). We are looking at getting the van converted for us. As we are already used to off grid living, we have a good idea of what we want in a van including a composting toilet (not seen much about these in campervans) as this is what we have on our boat, decent 6 volt semi traction batteries and solar panels. No microwave or big fridge/freezer as we see in some built vans! We’re then planning a trip to Scotland to things out then next winter in Portugal perhaps. Anyway, the site looks great and should be very helpful. Rob & Jenny
