Can anybody recommend a cassette awning or similar for a Toyota Hiace also I wish to fit pull down/up window blinds. Any ideas gratefully received. Regards CLIVE.
Blinds Just a point about blinds. We are trying to be careful of the pennies at the mo’ and were a bit surprised at the cost of purpose built/manufactured blinds. So, my very handy wife has made a blind for each window which is made up of two layers of old but still brightly coloured duvet cover with a layer of the bubble foil insulation (http://www.ecohome-insulation.com/?i=38452) that I’ve used for the van body insulation tucked inside then sewn up. The blinds have a strip of dowelling sewn into the top and are hung on hooks above the windows (one big window either side of the van) and fasten up out of the way on velcro strips during the day.
Blinds Thanks Bimble I am veering towards a similar idea as to get made to size are expensive for what you get. This site is full of great ideas. Regards CLIVE.
