VWbananas
Participanthi there, i’m new here and just picked up a VW transporter T4 1998. love the car already. the van is already converted but it has this black carpet lining glued to everything. some would say it looks good and i don’t think it’s terrible but i’m wanting the space to be light and wooden, not dark and black. i have no experience with renovations but got impatient and started ripping off some of the carpet, will attach a pic below. what do you think i should do here? rip it all off and clean it up? apply thin wooden panels over it? (with no experience). ideally i’d love to just apply straight over but not sure what materials would work. have been googling from wood wallpaper vinyl to wood planks but unsure. any help from those experienced would be appreciated.
