As you say, you don’t need
HiAs you say, you don’t need to register the vehicle as campervan. However, I don’t think you can continue to legally use the vehicle as a mini-bus for the disabled. Doing so, and not paying road tax is illegal I assume. I would take this opportunity to re-register it as a campervan. You have certainly done a good enough job, from looking at your pictures.

I am sure you are right and there are also insurance issues to consider. The paperwork is already under way and we anxiously await a response from DVLA.

It’s taken nearly two weeks since I sent in the application along with 16 photos and now the new document has come with “Motor Caravan” as the vehicle type.They’ve even sent the photos back!
