1st time conversion, need some guidance.

I’ve recently purchased a 1995 Mitsubishi express I’m looking to make into a camper.
Few issues to start with:
Leak in the roof when heavy rain – what’s the best way to clear that up and fill it to make it water tight?
Insulation: I’m in Australia so I’m just after a light first layer of insulation to cover up the metal panels with. Anybody used reflective? Would that be worth it?
Panels: I’m after a wooden panel finish but could that be put on after the thin insulation or will I require another layer after that?
Flooring: what’s your thoughts on best flooring to use? What have you used and what would you recommend?
