First Hookup since June

Today we visited the Orbitur campsite in Sagres. We visit campsites about twice a week, and this is our normal campsite in this part of the Algarve.

As our van is self-sufficient with solar power and a hot water heater, we don’t normally buy electricity at the campsites. But due to a few cloudy days, and the fact that we haven’t don’t much driving recently the batteries power levels have dropped a little low.

So whilst on the campsite today we bought some electricity. This is the first time the hookup has been connected since June!

With all of the long sunny(ish) days during the summer the batteries stayed well charged.
