Windscreen Wipers
The wipers on my 1979 VW T2 are not working. When the arms are lifted on the screen the motor is driving the arms and they are 'sweeping'. Put them back resting on the screen and they do not appear to have enough power to sweep the screen- they just stick in place as if trying to move. When this fault started (after not being used for a while) the nearsid wiper did sweep the screen, just the offside was stuck, now both are stuck. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
start by cleaning the screen , leave water and soap on screen, if no good, rev the van /bus , still no good?check elec conn. for cleanliness, security of contact , check linkage,check earth"s ?motor may be "tired" , if suspect that , if u can , substitute a known to be working one, good bus breakers will let you at premises , if you have it fixed , what u find ?

Im no expert but seems the linkage has come apart somehow. You might need to get to the mechanism underneath the dash board.
