This website is the result of my Mercedes Sprinter campervan conversion, and my 9 month trip through Europe.
I am constantly expanding this website, and will be doing another conversion and trip soon. I hope this website is useful to you, and I hope you like it :o)

I am looking to by a 1973 westfalia and wanted to know the standard height of the vehicle with the roof down. Basically want to know if it would fit into my garage.
I had the same question about my Westy before I bought it 7 years ago. I bought it anyway and took the risk! I have a 74 westy and it squeezes under a 2 metre barrier nicely! luckily it fitted in my garage or I dont know what I would have done! (moved house!) cheers Nige
Hi got a 1973 Westy 2 Meters will clear, get the bus slammed if it wonmt fit :p
I am thinking of buying a 73 camper van. It needs new canvas on the pop up. I need to know how much the replacement is and maybe be pointed in the right direction. Can anyone help me out?
check out conceptpoptops.
I've recently developed an interest in 1973 Camper Vans and was curious as to how much I'd have to pay to purchase an engine ready VW camper van. I'd appreciate it if you could quote me for a camper van. Many thanks, Megan Lawton
