Vehicle reclassification

A while ago we had a discussion going about getting DVLA to reclassify a vehicle. The forms that were being shown varied a lot in the requirements laid down before a vehicle could be reclassified. I've just been talking to my insurance company about this and they have sent me the form that they ask customers to fill in when requesting that they (the insurers) change a vehicle's classification.
This form appears much simpler and with far few requirements than the one from DVLA. As a try-on, I'm going to get this completed by my local garage and send it to DVLA. Watch this space.

Good luck. Recently there seems to be no rhyme or reason to the decisions made by the dvla with regards to van reclassification to motorhomes. Alot of people are failing and getting reclassidfied as vans with windows.
