Wally Glover

I bought my VW bay window camper van about five years ago, named her Purdy, and spent many happy days with her. She took me all the way up the west of the country, through Bath and Chester, the Lake District and up to Scotland. She accompanied myself and two friends around northern Europe a couple of years ago and it was there, sadly, that she succumbed to an oil leak which proved fatal to the engine.
Since then, lacking the knowledge or skill to get her running again, she has sat glumly in a garage in Northumberland, waiting for a sudden windfall, or a good samaritan (or the owner to take some initiative!) to get her back on the road.
It is a dream of mine to relive those halcyon days, and to create yet more happy memories, and to save her from those that would have me sell poor Purdy and forget the wonderful times we have spent together.
