Ex Royal Marine (27 years).Children grown up and no longer need their Dad. Bought a Nissan Primastar, kitted it out and now I travel far and wide with my trusted hound, Merlot in my van. Come rain or shine, sun or snow we travel.
Enjoy the outdoors, wandering the hills. Few trips to France (West coast). Off to Provence later this year. Fancy a bit of sunshine for a change.
Always open for new places to go.
My day job is a Civil Enforcement Officer (Traffic Warden). I hate paying to park so it's a very handy job at times. I park overnight in various car parks all over the country and always respectful to parking attendants and traffic wardens when I meet them. They are a wonderful source of info for good places to stop and sleep.
At present I live in Taunton, Somerset but thinking of moving to France and picking fruit for a few years....who knows what'll happen.
