Hi everybody! Im new to the forum and really keen to transform my van into a camper. Ok, I know its a transit but it was in really good nick and they have a bit more room in the back than the Windsurfing t4's. Anyway, I have now just got the van and have started to remove all the plywood from the roof and the walls in a bid to insulate behind these panels with Kingspan reflective insulation. Should keep me warm in the winter months and cooler in the summer (well thats the theory) After I get this done I plan to wire it for both shorepower and install 12v leisure batteries with a spilt charging system. I am going to include a freshwater system prob manual to save on batteries and a few lights possible led's. As far as gas goes I am not sure. Maybe just stick to using the camping gaz stoves as I don't wanna blow the thing up.But that could change. If I can afford it really want a eberspacher for those cold days windsurfing. :-)
I'll stick more photos up once I get the insulation done. Great Site by the way!
