Mercedes 207D hi roof camper van long wheel base 1979 spares or repair
Update: This vehicle is no longer for sale
I've had this van 10 years and done all the work on it myself so know the ins and outs. Really not that much wrong with it apart from needs a new starter motor was running up until today every day 10/01/2012 bunk beds, double bed, fully functional kitchen. I'm pretty sure I could get it started if needs be. May not sound like much of a prospect but anyone that knows these vans will know its value only 128,000 genuine miles. Reason for sale I have two vans and this has to go now. Taxed till end of march, MOT exempt due to it being a live in vehicle.
New one on me unless its a show van or something ?

Go down the page a bit to form v112g gives you all the types of vehicle can be exempt from MOT mine is number 12. you have to download the file it's a pdf but its a good read. Mobile libraries, hearse, etc all exempt mine is living vehicle meaning I live in it.
sorry number 13
I rather think that anyone who is going to use it as a campervan very much will need an MOT and as such I would suggest that the buyer either gets a test or you test it prior to sale.
It does say at the top spares or repair. Its running starts first time will go through all things on it with you. Going to do some work on brakes and other bits but nothing wrong with it generally.
and how much do you want for it??
Starts fine was just a flat battery. I'm going to change the fuel filter this week cos its running a bit rough but starts like a dream again after charging battery. Gotta go cos can't afford 2 lots of insurance.
For somewhere near a grand, thats not bad as even as a breaker it'll produce. An MOT at that sort of money isn't that important then for that money.
Some people get so excited when pricing campers and think they're worth fortunes and then wonder why no one buys em.
Good luck at a grand.
This van is no longer for sale I would take it down but don't see how to. Mean time I am selling a VW Transporter.

MOT Exempt? Whats all that about then?
