Mate - what does the daily groceries entail? A banana and a piece of bread each? Surely 4 euro per person ain't going to get you far?

5 euro per person in Paris - somehow I don't think this is for 3 meals?

Ha good point. I think this must have ment my groceries in additional to my other spendings. Makes no sense to anyone else though! I can't even remember what it means to me.

we plan to purchase a campervan and travel europe in 2010 starting in Jan/Feb. will start in spain to portugal and then spend some time in southern italy till it warms up a little. are the cost comparisons recent? i had thought we would go until about half of our money runs out and then come back to the uk by a different route. we're hoping to make it up to northern europe in a big circle and end up back in the UK. are we nuts??? by the way, we are probably old enough to know better (but maybe young enough not to care) thanks for any advice. These prices were taken in 2007. They should still be fairly accurate.

I would be very suprised if any of these prices still hold true, obviously fuel is more expensive and in Paris I found cafe au lait to be €3. for travelling try the website www.horizonsunlimited.com mainly a motorcycle overlanders site but 4x4s and campers welcome.
