Hi all, Just going to put in windows in my Mercedes MWB Hi-top. Going to put 1 each in the first panel none in the second panel and 1 each in the back doors. Just wondering, if I get tinted glass (as in nobody can looking in from the outside) will it be very dark when I sit in the van. Anyone with tinted windows can you offer advice please.

Tinted windows still let in

Tinted windows still let in quite a lot of light. It won't be dark.

windows

if you are using merc genuine glass it can come already tinted and also has a heat reflective coating they do bonded glass and the traditional rubber seal type the prices are not to bad either, mine are the darkest tint they do. I am very happy with the end result your only problem is that your van wont have left the factory with the glass fitted so wont show up on there epc(parts computer)so you have to hope for a switched on helpful parts man a common mistake is buying the same size glass for your side door as the non opening door they are different also merc glass has a curve in it, non gen is flat not so easy to fit
