Greetings from Canada
Hey there,
I'm Arathi, and I say Greetings from Canada as it appears many on this site are from the other side of the pond. I'm a vandweller, not just a camper. I've been living full-time in my van since June 2010, and I love it! My life is simpler and costs are down. Haven't decided what I plan to do for winter yet though, still working on that.
I work in Corporate IT as a Business Analyst so I make decent money, and enjoy spending what I don't put into debt considering I no longer have bills! Life is far more enjoyable now.
I have a blog as well (http://thevandweller.blogspot.com/) that I have started to chronicle my journey as I'm just starting out and still learning. Hence the reason I found this site amoung many others!
I guess that's all for now!

Thanks Darren,
I plan on getting more photos soon, and I'll be blogging about my experiences and journey especially now that winter is coming. If I decide to saty in the van, it'll be very interesting, but I may rent a room for the winter since it can get mighty cold here!
Hey Arathi,
You have a cool blog. I especially liked your post about insulating your van. I think things like that are especially important if you want to stay comfortable and enjoy your time in the van.
Thanks,
I was offline for a couple months here as I was sorting some business out that got me extremely busy. I'm back to posting, and looking forward to ideas. It's winter here now, and I need to get the furnace repaired. Until then, I am holed up in a friends house. We were the second coldest place on the planet yesterday... Only Antarctica was colder... *sigh* Would have been very interesting to see what being in the van with the furnance going had the furnace stayed running when I started it up.
