Got all the vents & sockets in today
Yesterday, I went out to Suffolk caravan accessories and bought an MPK 320x360 roof vent, 240v 16a exterior socket box for site electrics and a toilet vent.Charged up my drill and bought new metal blades for my jig saw.
I must have measured that vent 10 times before finally climbing on the roof of my 06 MK6 Transit high top LWB and cutting out.(I was that nervous of effin it up) It went in just fine with Sikaflex to bond and seal.
Next, cut out the hole on the base of the nearside for the flush socket box...The fit was that tight it'll never come out and then cut out the hole on the other side for the Toilet vent and fitted a manrose vent.Looking slowly more like a camper now. I now have no qualms about cutting out and fitting my own bonded windows.A good sundays work. I want to complete the van by Easter, where we will take it on a test camp to Norfolk, before crossing the channel.

Camper Van Life is brought to you by Darren Lambert, a big fan of camper vans.
Sounds like great progress. Well done.
