Camper Van Life is brought to you by Darren Lambert, a big fan of camper vans.
This website is the result of my Mercedes Sprinter campervan conversion, and my 9 month trip through Europe.
I am constantly expanding this website, and will be doing another conversion and trip soon. I hope this website is useful to you, and I hope you like it :o)

Thanks for your message mate. Pleased you like the van. I never follow the crowd and do things the same as others, which is why my van is much different to the rest.
All you need to make sure of is that you have a reasonably sound van (no leaks and stuff) and that the engine is good.
I converted my van in the space of three weekends!!!
The basic concept is to have everything you need but don't stick it all onto the walls of the van as it greatly reduces head space.
And, the weather plays a big part in what you do to the van..........you need the line it with plywood and carpet , or similar, for insulation against the cold and also looks much better.
As far as technical stuff, you may need to fit a 'hookup' plug to the van. You need this to plug into the mains to power all your gear....or Get a generator (about6.5hp) and this will do the job too.
If you want to chat more here is my IM pyramid6119@hotmail.co.uk
Sorry about the delay in replying....I'm not here often !
Best wishes Steve.
Sup my name is beau wakefield and i am seventeen and living in new zealand ( the tin country next to australia ). ok firts of all i love your van man even that 1 picture made me wanna go out and convert my van right that instant. but in saying that i kno next to nothing abou engines and stuff ( is that kinda knowledge necessary? ). ive never really had the desire to buy a home at any point in my life to much and u end up spending half your life paying it of. so i thought my van and maybe converting it so i can live in it and cruise round new zealand surfing. so what i was wondering is 1 do you need to touch anything technicle on the van? how long did it take you to convert yours? and is there anything i should know about before starting? as well as anything info that may be handy. i personally think that this would be the perfect lifestyle for me. ok so reply when your ready no hurry. thanks beau. p.s 48 aint that old.
