Hi Guys,
Hope there is someone out there who can advise me about what exactly I need to get in order to utilise the electrical hook up down in southern France. The campsite we have booked provides electrical hook up at 10 amps. Do I need current/ voltage converters etc with that being significantly different to that in the UK?? Please advise!!!!

Hi Ruth It's really

Hi Ruth

It's really simple.

You need 1 of these to convert the European socket on the campsite to take the UK plug from your hookup cable

I would also recommend one of these.
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CARAVAN-CAMPER-240V-MAINS-POLARITY-TESTER-/170...

This device will check that the wires are the right way around at the campsite, as the Europe plug can be put in the wrong way. You plug it into your socket in the van, connect the hookup, turn on the socket and make sure the lights come on correctly.
