Hi all,

I'm thinking of converting a Toyota Hiace to a basic camper for climbing holidays in Europe.

I'd like a full width rock and roll bed.

How can I maximise the storage space in the van? I'll need space for lots of climbing equipment + camping stoves, food etc etc

Thanks

Please feel free to ask questions

I would sit down with a pencil and paper and draw up several ideas to suit you...eventually you will arrive at something to build. I did this and aided by lots of pics of othere folks vans I have the final plan which I am now doing.

Try searching on the internet

Try searching on the internet for VW T4 and T5 conversions. The dimensions of those vans are similar to yours, and you'll find lots of people who have converted them in different ways.

One of the best uses of space is under the seat at the rear.
