Hi, Iam new to the whole campervan life and don't even own a van, however I have the opportunity to obtain a VW camper van from Brazil, I have a choice of a couple so not sure if to go for fully working van or a project. As I have never owned a van I wondered if any one out there could give me some advice on maybe obtaining and registering an import but also any advice or tips on owning my very first van and maybe restoring a van ?? any advice at all would be appreciated. Thanks

If you have not owned one

If you have not owned one before, and are important from Brazil I would suggest getting the nicest and best one you can find from Brazil. It will be so much more in once imported.
Project vans are generally best as a second van, but still great as a first van also.
Restoring a van requires lots of experience, time and money. So be careful there.
