how to find out who converted our renault motorhome
hello everyone, just bought a renault trafic T1400 campervan. this is our first one.
when we went to insure it we were asked who converted it, well you can imagine our panic. we didnt know and we dont know how to find out. we have looked everywhere for a plate on the van for a clue but nothing. was wondering if anyone could enlighten us as to where we can find out. thank you in advance Read more »
My beasts history so far.
Well its nine months since i bought the beast for £2450.00. Now when i bought it I had it serviced at a cost of £192.00 which included all filters air and oil changed.Then in August Mot time hit me, guess what it failed, N/S rear brake binding, Off side rear brake binding(rear hand brake cables), osf ball joint osf front and rear tyres bald,rack boots split, nsr tie bar/rod play in pin bush. Hi all I'm Andrew AKA Bigboack, Well here it is, My 1997 Nissan Elgrand 3.2td It started life as a luxury 8 seater mpv in Japan, Bought it last year and fell in love with it, saw its potential as a luxury campervan. Its got electric curtains, roof mounted DVD player twin air con, soft close side door and rear. Its done 109000 miles.Done the conversion meself so its not prof quality but its mine.

Is this price reasonable
As a favour to a friend I am paying for a insulation, carpets and electrics with a leisure battery and a few lights at a cost of £620 this is for a Renault Kangoo, it needs to be done urgently hence why I have gone with it.
Any useful advice before I see them what to request would be grateful for
