Smail family VW T5 camper journey begins here
hi everyone im cheryl and me and my husband just brought our first ever van ,a sexy white T5 1.9 SWB 04 with the grand plan of turning into a camper, we are planning on shelling out for a roof and windows and suitable rear seat for kids, so budget pretty much gone already, so am after any top tips for conversion, nice and cheap,
we have a plan of going travelling in the summer holidays for 6 wks, i have always wanted to travel the whole coast of uk ( been my dream long b4 coast came on tv and they miss all the best bits so we are going to start this year then when we done the whole coast we will start on europe) anyway one very excited VW owner here looking forward to years of fun and hopefully meeting lots new people to.

T5's are in a way a credit to the orginal T1, all though no where near as pretty, they are certainly more reliable and comfortable.
