This is the second build in this van as the first was very basic and done in a week for a trip to wales…. in winter. Problem has always been that i still needed to use the van for work, so fitting a sink, and propper cupboards wasn’t really an option as I needed to have a flat bed for carrying large boxes

This was a very tighly budgeted build, materials and coverings came to less than £100. The electronics added a bit more (110Ahr battery, zig ditribution pannel and relay were the standard sort of prices anyone can source from ebay and the local caravan shop.

The original lighting reused a couple of 12v celing light fittings (the kind that hang between 2 wires) with the halogen bulbs replaced with LED version. The new ligting came from ebay for not much more than 20 quid for 5 meters of light strip with the controller and remote. Monitor was a freebee as it needed some work to get it going again and the tv tuner that hooks on to it (and plays movies from a usb hard disk) was about 17 quid.

There are a few other toys installed but they don’t get counted in the build as they have been parts of other hobbies and passed through a few vehicles on the way to their current home. Headunit was replaced with a PC with 7″ touchscreen 6years ago(does all the usuall headunit stuff, GPS, movies and any thing else a pc can do). And the RGB under chasis lights, tackey I know but i like them 😀 (and they’re great when you turn up some where in the dark, open the doors and all your gear flows out onto your feet).
